2026 River Point Concert Series

June 5 • June 26 • July 17 • August 7

The Downtown Norfolk River Point District Concert Series is set to return for another exciting summer of live music in 2026. Now a staple of the community, the annual series continues to bring high-energy entertainment, local talent, and vibrant nightlife to River Point Square in the heart of downtown Norfolk.

The season kicks off on June 5 with a dynamic evening of music featuring Payton Schroeder opening the night, setting the tone with an engaging performance before the always-entertaining PvP Dueling Pianos take the stage. Known for their interactive, high-energy show, PvP Dueling Pianos deliver a crowd-driven experience that keeps audiences singing along all night long.

On June 26, Kody Hess gets the evening started with a strong local presence and authentic sound, leading into Capital Nine, a band known for its polished performances and wide-ranging setlist that keeps the crowd on its feet.

The summer continues on July 17 as Evan Carter opens the evening with a style that resonates with fans of live, heartfelt music. Back by popular demand, Flannel returns to the River Point stage after a standout performance last year. If you missed them, now is your chance to experience their high-energy tribute to the iconic sounds of the ‘90s—guaranteed to get the crowd singing along and filling the dance floor.

The series wraps up on August 7 with Gravel Street kicking things off, followed by Mr. Hand, a crowd favorite known for delivering an energetic mix of hits that span genres and generations—making for the perfect finale to a summer of live music.

All concerts will take place at River Point Square, located in the heart of Downtown Norfolk. Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for seating. To enjoy food during the concerts, guests can text a provided number to place an order from a select event menu. Volunteers will coordinate with participating downtown restaurants to deliver food directly into the venue. Beverages will also be available onsite, no outside food or drink.

“The River Point Concert Series continues to grow each year, and we’re excited to bring another great lineup to the community in 2026,” said Stephanie Bates, Downtown Concert Series Chair. “These events are a great way to experience downtown Norfolk, support local businesses, and enjoy live music with friends and family.”
