The Zone Afterschool Program’s annual fundraising event brings a ton of family fun with kids’ games, bounce houses, live music, food trucks and more.
The Norfolk Arts Center hosts this family-friendly music festival with live music from local and regional musicians, a food truck rumble, art and community.

Celebrate the Norfolk area’s rich German heritage and fall harvest with the Norfolk Area Chamber’s annual two-day family festival, brining German food, polka music, a beer garden, children’s activities and a stein-holding competition!
Lions Club Parade

Always held on the Saturday of Oktoberfest, the Lions Club Parade has always been an early-fall Norfolk tradition. You will see a variety of floats, including many area marching bands.
Downtown Trick ‘r Treating
Thursday before Halloween
Trick ‘r Treating has been a long-standing event hosted by the Downtown Norfolk Association. Business owners look forward to handing out thousands of pieces of candy to little princesses, super heroes and their parents.
